Located near the historical centre of Foiano, the “La Toscanina di Canapone” Inn is a well-renovated Leopoldian (1700) homestead. Skilled hands have maintained the original external and internal characteristics with very comfortable modern conveniences. The Inn is comprised of 10 rooms, all decorated with distinctive colours and décor (every room has its own name and different colour scheme). The authentic furniture is in the classical rustic style of the early 1900’s. The bathrooms, rooms, private breakfast rooms, as well as the entrance and the living room are all elegant and comfortable. Every room is equipped with heating, air conditioning, satellite TV and elegant bath with shower.

It is about 2 kms from the A1 toll motorway exit and from the service road of the main Siena-Perugia motorway. The Inn is in a convenient geographical position since from nearby Foiano many other major cities of historical and artistical value can be easily reached such as Florence, Siena, Perugia, Arezzo, Cortona, Assisi, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Lake Trasimeno, the thermal springs of S. Casciano dei Bagni and Bagno Vignone, Lucignano, etc. They are cities, which offer history, art, ambience, culture and gastronomy. Nearby a series of fascinating traditional events, such as the Palio in Siena, the Saracino Joust in Arezzo, and the antiques festival in Cortona etc are held. We must also mention the noted wines of the area such as the famous Brunello wine of Montalcino, Nobile from Montepulciano and the DOC wines of Cortona and the Chiana Valley.
