The Hotel Albergo Villa Marta is easily reachable thanks to its fortunate position in the heart of a characteristic rural countryside, but only a few kilometres from the motorway exit (A11) and from the major link roads.

By car:
From Motorway A11
Leave the Firenze-mare motorway A11 and exit in LUCCA EST. Follow the blue signs to Pisa which bring you onto the SS12. Follow the roadside signs to the Hotel Villa Marta and, after about 5km, in the village of San Lorenzo a Vaccoli, turn into the Via Guasperini, a small road on the left side of the main road to Pisa. After about 500metres you will pass onto a small bridge, after that you will see a fork, keep on the left and after about 400meters you will see the entrance to the Hotel Albergo Villa Marta on your left.

From Pisa center
Leave the town and follow the signs for Lucca. Once out of the town follow the signs for San Giuliano Terme taking the SS12. Once at the foot of the mountains, in the village of San Giuliano Terme, go straight on, never leaving the SS12 .
You will pass into a tunnel and then you will be in Lucca area. Continuing to Lucca, you will find the Village of Santa Maria del Giudice, pass it, than there is the village of San Lorenzo a Vaccoli.
Remain on the main road SS12, and once you’ll find Via del Ponte Guasperini, on the right, take the small road and go straight on. After about 500metres you will pass onto a small bridge, after that you will see a fork, keep on the left and after about 400meters you will see the entrance to the Hotel Albergo Villa Marta on your left.

From Pisa airport

Take the highway A11 for Lucca and exit at LUCCA EST.
Once out of the highway follow signs to Pisa SS12 and after 5 km in the Village of San Lorenzo a Vaccoli, on the left you‘ll find Via del Ponte Guasperini. Then it’s the same as above.
BY PLANE: International Airport of Pisa “Galileo Galilei” International Airport of Florence “Amerigo Vespucci” Civil Airport of Lucca – Tassignano. An air taxi service is also available for transfer to tourist resorts, cities and islands.

BY TRAIN: There are train lines between Florence and Lucca and between Pisa and Lucca.. Taxis and shuttle buses are available at the station.

Great attention is given to detail: fine, unusual bed linen, with coverlets that are all different; radiators and air-conditioners painted the same colour as the walls; minibar and mineral water in a glass bottle in every room; hand-made chocolates in the finest Lucca tradition to wish you sweet dreams. The fabrics used either have a flower motif combined with small squares or with stripes: red and beige are featured in some rooms, and lilac and pale green or aquamarine in others. Some beds have elegant canopy drapes. Most of the ceilings have exposed beams, and the terracotta floors cool rush mats. Each mirror is a different design. The decorative elements and the frames of the prints change according to the key colour of the décor. The doors are white. Extra comforts are provided for guests in each room, in the form of a desk and two armchairs, and a minibar. All the rooms have air-conditioning, direct dial phone, satellite TV, hairdryer, as well as the minibar. All the bathrooms have a shower and windows. They are tiled in cream and grey Tessieri majolica ware, the basins have either a marble or pietra serena and tile surround. There is a Pija courtesy kit .
